How is the value of goods calculated on a month-to-month membership with no term date?

For a M2M membership that doesn't have a term date, the system will automatically calculate the value of goods when the membership is opened for a total of 36 months. This can be seen on the Financial Transaction Report, or by clicking on the "financials" option under actions when viewing a membership.
