- Quick Functions -> Memberships. Enter the member's last name and Search.
- Hover over 'Membership Actions' and click the box to 'Cancel'.
- The Cancel Date defaults with the Current Date. Use the current date for an immediate cancellation. For a cancellation in the future, enter the future date.

Clear Open Balance, YES/NO: If there is an open balance and the member is still obligated to pay, leave the setting 'No'. If there is no obligation, select 'Yes'.
- Reason: You can specify a reason for the cancellation such as 'Moving' or 'No Time'. These reasons will populate on your Membership Cancel report for a better understanding of your churn. Add new reasons by selecting <Add New> from the Reason drop down menu. The new reasons you add will populate for all memberships going forward.
- Notes: Enter any notes you like. Notes are mandatory. We suggest the Admin's initials.
- Cancel Membership.
**If there is a service package attached to the membership, it will display immediately after the membership cancellation. Process the package cancellation also.
**After you submit the service cancellation, you can send the member a cancellation email.
