Gamification allows you to reward members for their achievements, assign prizes, and display leaders based on activities. There are a few items to set up in order to use the feature.
SETUP
1. Enable Members
Quick Functions>>Members. There are two fields in the member record that need to be enabled to in order for members to see the features on the member portal: Leaderboard Opt-In and Reward Opt-In. If these fields need to be enabled for all members please submit a support ticket and we can do this for you. You can individually deselect members who don't use it.
2. Enable Settings
Tools>>System Settings>>Member Portal Settings:
Show Contests Tile: checked
Change Text for Contests Tile: Customize tile label
Show Leaderboard Rankings: checked - all members that are enabled see the leaderboard.
3. Create prizes
All prizes are added through the point of sale feature. Use these steps to add your prizes: How to Add A POS Item
4. Assign Prizes
Functions>>Rewards>>Assign Prizes
Choose a POS item, add the points value, click add prize
5. Assign Points
Choose an activity, such as checkin, or a specific class and assign the points value attached to it. Example- 5 points every time someone checks into the facility.
6. Admin Security
You can restrict reward option under admin security:
MANAGING MEMBERS
Manually assign points to a member and view member points history
Quick Functions>>Member
Pull up member and choose details.
Use the options at the top right to view achievements, points, or manually assign/remove points:
When viewing the points, choose history at the top of the screen to see points redeemed and rewarded points:

When navigating to a member from the magfi option, the member details screen will also show points:
Admins can redeem points for members.
From Quick Functions>>Redeem Prizes, admins can look up a member and click redeem prizes or redeem points and fulfill prizes.
From the member history screen, admins can add points, reverse points, and mark fulfilled. If a member redeems points online, the alert center is updated so admins are easily notified:

Leaderboard Achievements
Functions>>Rewards>>Achievement Notifications
Will allow you to send badges (that you upload) to your members for best in check-ins, classes attended, PT sessions or who has reached certain amount of points. The email will go to the member once they reach the goal and it will include the badge. To set it up –Functions >> Rewards>>Achievement>> Notifications – top right ADD NEW NOTIFICATION
Select Enabled – then decide if you want that one to be based on a Threshold reached or on top rank. You can set it either way. If you select Threshold Reached – the choices are Class(s) attended, PT session(s) or Check-ins. You can select classes/pt/check-ins that the member has participated in and the threshold they must meet to achieve the badge.
Top Rank it will send a badge for whomever has attended the most Classes, PT sessions or who has checked in the most.
Then decide if you want to give them points for reaching the goal.
Add the Description of the email and the subject as well ad the text you would like to send them and the photo of your choice for the badge.
Top left select the save button.
Reports
Reports>>Rewards>>Achievements
Listed by member and records each achievement reached and the date/time.
Reports>>Rewards>>Leaderboard
Select a Leaderboard and time frame.
Reports>>Rewards>>Reward Point History
Allows you to see the points rewarded, redeemed, and the balance. You can also drill into the history of each member.
Member Portal
Members can view their progress in the portal. Points will display in the top right and the field is clickable to redeem points. All prizes will display but REDEEM will only show if the member has enough point to choose the item:
Members can view the leaderboard and select check-ins, classes attended, PT sessions, and points from the drop down as well as view their own achievements:
