Functions-> Expenses-> View Expenses
- To search for specific expenses, use the custom query tool; Otherwise the system defaults to [All Pending]
- Locate the expense you want to show payment for; using the expense ID field, payee, due date, etc.
- Under the Actions column, click [Make Payment]
- Change the Effective Date if necessary
- Enter the amount paid
- Select the appropriate payment method
- Add any notes to the expense payment if necessary
- Click [Apply Payment]
**NOTE: NO money is EVER moved with the Expense function in Shape; this function simply allows you to keep track of outside expenses.
