How can I find a summary of how many SMS records were sent by day?

Reports --> Marketing --> Auto SMS Analysis

Query/Filter defaults to Month-To-Date or you can select from the pre-defined options

The results will be by day with a count of how many SMS records were sent

Clicking on the count will return the details of the messages sent.  You can also access the details or contact history.
