Step 1: Ensure your data is in the correct format
Step 2: Select and upload (for preprocessing) the file containing your prospect data
Step 3: Add the Prospects (process the uploaded file)

Step 1: Ensure your data is in the correct format

A single TAB-DELIMITED text file is to be uploaded using this process. This file should be created using MS Excel (save as...Text [Tab Delimited]) and must end in ".txt". The maximum size of the file is 4MB. This process will accept fields that are both surrounded by quotes and not.

DATA FORMAT: Please download the correctly formatted prospect import template attached above. The header record must be included, and the column names must be exactly as written in the template. The columns must also in the exact order as provided in the template. You do NOT have to include all of the columns. However, if you want to include a column in the middle of the template, you must include all of the columns prior to that. The only columns that are required are:ext_sys_id, first_name, last_name. Additionally, ext_sys_id must be a unique.

Step 2: Select and upload the file containing your prospect data

Click the Browse...button to locate the file on your computer. Select the file and click the OK button. Once the dialog box closes, click the UPLOAD FILE button to upload the file and complete the process.

Please note:Records with the same ext_sys_id value can only be loaded once. In practice, if you have 10 records with the same ext_sys_id, only the last one in the file will be available to be used to create a prospect. Once a prospect is created, if you try to use the same ext_sys_id, you will be notified that the ext_sys_id has already been turned into a prospect (a duplicate).
