How do I purchase a gift card

The following steps will walk you through purchasing a gift card to be tracked through Shape:

1. Functions>>POS>>Gift Cards
2. Drop down to Purchase Gift Cards, click Select
3. Type or Scan in Gift Card Bar Code, click Continue
4. Enter the Amount to be placed on Gift Card, enter Expiration date, or click NO EXPIRATION
5. Click Continue
6. Checkout as normal with actual payment method

The gift card will be available and you can track the balance here:

Functions>>POS>>Gift Cards
View Gift Cards, click Select

You can also make changes such as adding funds and an expiration date.

This gift card can then be used at checkout by the member it is given to. The funds will be deducted automatically as purchases are made and the amount will be updated under the view gift cards option.
